The document includes an explanation of how CEASD standards, the planning process and the school improvement plans interact to achieve effective school improvement. This document describes the process involved in the accreditation visit when it will be a joint visit between CEASD and the regional accreditation body. For further information on joint visits and a copy of the letter sent to the Regional Office when a joint visit will occur, contact the National Office. Standard 1-12 Focus Questions
This document contains questions for each of the twelve standards. Team members may use these questions in interviews with the staff and stakeholders and/or develop additional questions based on the school’s self-study and observations of the program.
This PowerPoint is used for the final exit conference with the school undergoing accreditation. The team’s major commendations and recommendations will be included in the PowerPoint and shared with the CEO/Superintendent of the school and the staff in an exit meeting.
Report on the Accreditation Site Visit for the _____School for the Deaf
This document is the template for the final report. Each team member writes a section of the report. Generally, team members cover three Standards each. The final report is compiled by the team chairperson and sent to the CEO/Superintendent of the School for a check of facts. The report is then filed with the CEASD National Office.
